The Boeing CST-100 Starliner, a crew capsule for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, has been plagued by persistent problems. Its first crewed test flight in June 2024 was cut short by technical failures, including helium pressurization leaks and multiple thruster malfunctions. (CNN) – More than 130 cruise ship passengers reported suffering from a gastrointestinal disease after setting sail from Los Angeles on July 4. The cause of the outbreak has not been determined. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 134 passengers on Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas — or 3.4 percent of the cruise’s total passenger list of 3,900 people — reported feeling ill. Google announced on Tuesday that its artificial intelligence (AI) agent Big Sleep recently made a major cybersecurity breakthrough. Big Sleep, a cybersecurity-focused AI agent developed by Google DeepMind and Google Project Zero, was able to discover an SQLite vulnerability in the company’s product. The Mountain View-based tech giant highlighted that the security flaw was known to bad actors and was at risk of being exploited. Microsoft announced two new upgrades for Copilot Vision on Tuesday, which are aimed at increasing its usability. ChatGPT’s new Record Mode is now available to ChatGPT Plus users macOS, a month after the feature was rolled out to ChatGPT Team subscribers.
