Marketing Week’s Festival of Marketing returns to London on 2 October for its 11th year, bringing together leading voices on advertising effectiveness.
Les Binet and Dr Grace Kite will lead the agenda, sharing how marketers can build brands in a fragmented media landscape where capturing consumer attention is increasingly difficult.
Binet is a global authority on marketing effectiveness. For nearly 40 years, he has pioneered research into how marketing works, how to make it work better and how to measure its impact.
His books and articles are regarded as essential reading for professionals and academics worldwide, selling tens of thousands of copies. He is also a sought-after speaker, trainer and consultant to global firms including McDonald’s, Nestlé, Volkswagen and Alphabet.Hear from P&G, Coke and Specsavers at this year’s Festival of Marketing
Dr Kite has more than two decades of experience using statistics to model commercial outcomes and pinpoint what drives growth. Throughout, she has prioritised coaching people to use results successfully, and now focuses on wider patterns in growth, data and analytics.
In 2010, she founded Magic Numbers, a consultancy that specialises in clear, human-centred analysis to evaluate marketing performance and deliver reliable results.
Kite will also lead a separate session later in the day, offering marketers practical tools to communicate the value of marketing to finance teams. Her talk will cover how to present ideas in ways that resonate with senior leadership and demonstrate marketing’s contribution to business growth.
The wider agenda is packed with insight from senior marketers at global brands, covering brand storytelling, growth, wellbeing and innovation.
As announced last week, other speakers include Coca-Cola’s Europe CMO, Javier Meza, P&G Europe’s chief brand officer, Taide Guajardo, Specsavers CEO John Perkins and CMO Peter Wright, and PwC’s global CMO Antonia Wade.
The event will be headlined by renowned businesswoman, author, broadcaster and retail figure, Mary Portas OBE, and closed by award-winning journalist and expert in high-performance thinking, Matthew Syed.
