1. Willis names P&C head for Hong Kong, Macau
Willis has appointed Steve Hutchinson as its new head of property and casualty (P&C) for Hong Kong and Macau, effective from May 2.
Hutchinson (pictured) will report to Iris Chan, head of corporate risk and broking for Hong Kong and Macau.
Willis, meanwhile, also promoted Trent Williams to head of broking for global construction. In this role, Melbourne-based Williams will spearhead the broker’s global construction broking efforts and resources across all product lines and coverages.
And Willis, WTW’s insurance broking business, has also appointed Anant Pawar as aviation and space leader for India. In his new role, Pawar (pictured) will deliver aviation insurance broking expertise and solutions to Willis’ clients across the country.

2. Chubb appoints new head of APAC A&H
Global (re)insurer Chubb has appointed Janene Blizzard as head of accident and health (A&H) for Asia Pacific, effective from June 1. Blizzard will relocate from London to Singapore, leading the strategy, growth, and performance of Chubb’s A&H portfolios across the region.

4. Euclid Transactional adds tax underwriting in APAC with EY hire
Euclid Transactional, an M&A-specialist MGA, has hired Wai Ling Low as senior vice-president and tax underwriter for Asia Pacific. Low is the first tax underwriter in APAC to join Euclid’s global tax insurance team.
